After breakfast, check out and drive to Polonnaruwa, stopping en route to visit the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, the Golden Buddha Statue, and the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs. Continue to Polonnaruwa and check into your hotel. After freshening up, explore the Polonnaruwa Ruins, including the Royal Palace and Gal Vihara.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kandy, stopping to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Aluviharaya Rock Cave Temple, Fort Macdowall, and a Spice Garden in Matale. Continue the drive to Kandy and check into your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Gampola Railway Station and board the scenic train to Nawalapitiya. Upon arrival at Nawalapitiya Railway Station, continue by road to Nuwara Eliya. This journey is part of one of the most picturesque rail routes in Sri Lanka, offering breathtaking views of lush tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and cascading waterfalls.

Known as "Little England," Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka's highest hill station and one of its most charming destinations. Nestled beneath the towering Pidurutalagala Mountain, the town is renowned for its cool climate, rolling tea estates, colonial-era architecture, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Established during the British colonial period, it continues to retain much of its Victorian charm.

Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, check in to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities at your own pace.
