Explore the enchanting Northeast of India on this 12-day tour covering Guwahati, Shillong, Cherrapunji, Kaziranga, Jorhat, and Majuli Island. Begin in Guwahati with leisure time and city sightseeing, then proceed to Shillong to enjoy the scenic landscapes, waterfalls, and living root bridges. Visit Cherrapunji to witness Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls. Experience wildlife safaris in Kaziranga National Park, spotting Indian rhinoceros, elephants, and more. Discover the heritage of Jorhat and Majuli Island’s Satras. Conclude with guided tours in Guwahati, including Kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple, before departure. This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day excursion to Mawlynnong, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Visit Riwai Village to trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge and see the Balancing Rock.
Continue to Dawki and Tamabil (near the Bangladesh border), where you can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River at Shnongpdeng Village. Also visit the cave at Mawsynram Village.
After completing your sightseeing tour of Mawlynnong, you may either enjoy some shopping or return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji. En route, visit Ramakrishna Mission, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Shillong Peak, and Elephant Falls.
Continue your drive to Cherrapunji and visit Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls—the tallest plunge waterfall in India.
After completing your sightseeing tour of Cherrapunji, you may enjoy some shopping or return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, before breakfast, proceed to explore the wildlife of Kaziranga National Park by jeep safari or elephant safari. The park is home to about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals and hosts the world’s largest population of the Indian rhinoceros. It is also home to Indian elephants, wild Asian water buffalo, eastern swamp deer, capped langurs, golden langurs, and hoolock gibbons (the only ape found in India), along with other wildlife such as tigers and leopards.
After completing your morning safari, return to the hotel for breakfast and spend some time at leisure. After lunch at the hotel, proceed for another safari/game drive in Kaziranga National Park. You can capture memorable wildlife photographs during your jungle safari.
In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, before breakfast, proceed for a jungle safari in Kaziranga National Park. After completing your morning game drive, return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch, and take some time to relax and refresh.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Jorhat. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
After refreshing yourself, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jorhat. Visit Sukapha Samannay Kshetra and explore the heritage of the Ahom dynasty. Also visit Dhekiakhowa Bor Namghar, one of the oldest temples in the region.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a day excursion to Majuli Island. En route, stop at Nimati Ghat, where you will board a ferry to Majuli.
Upon arrival, visit Dakhinpat Satra, Garmur Satra, Auniati Satra, and Samaguri Satra. If time permits, you may also visit Salmora Village.
Later, return to the ferry point and take the ferry back to Jorhat for your overnight stay.

Visit Kamakhya Temple—one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, situated on Nilachal Hill in the western part of the city—and Umananda Temple, located on a small river island in the Brahmaputra River. Also visit Basistha Mandir, the Guwahati War Cemetery, Peacock Island (the smallest inhabited river island in the world, one of three islands off the Guwahati shore), and Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra.
