Tour Itinerary

Explore the vibrant city of Kolkata with visits to Victoria Memorial, Science City, Belur Math, and Mother Teresa’s Home, then fly to Guwahati and drive to Kaziranga National Park for thrilling jeep and elephant safaris among rhinos, elephants, and tigers. Continue to Darjeeling to witness sunrise at Tiger Hill, visit monasteries, tea estates, and local markets. Cross into Bhutan via Phuentsholing, exploring Thimphu’s Dzongs, museums, and markets before heading to Paro to visit the National Museum, Rinpung and Drukgyel Dzongs, Kyichu Lhakhang, and the iconic Paro Taktsang monastery, concluding with a transfer to Paro Airport for departure.

Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, our G Experiences representative will assist you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Kolkata Airport to board your flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, our representative will assist you and then drive you to Kaziranga National Park.

Early in the morning, before breakfast, proceed to explore the wildlife of Kaziranga National Park with a jeep safari or elephant safari. The park is home to around 15 species of India’s threatened mammals and harbours the world’s largest population of Indian rhinoceros. It also supports Indian elephants, wild Asian water buffalo, eastern swamp deer, capped langurs, golden langurs, and hoolock gibbons (the only ape found in India), along with other wildlife such as tigers and leopards.

After completing your morning game drive, return to the hotel for breakfast and spend some time at leisure. After lunch at the hotel, proceed for another safari/game drive in Kaziranga National Park. You may also capture memorable wildlife photographs during the safari.

In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Guwahati Airport to board your flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our representative will assist you and then drive you to Darjeeling.

Early in the morning (around 4.00 AM), visit Tiger Hill (8,364 ft / 2,550 m) to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back to the hotel, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Return to the hotel for breakfast and spend some time at leisure.

After refreshing yourself, proceed for a guided tour of Darjeeling. Visit the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), followed by Tenzing and Gombu Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and a tea estate.

After completing the guided tour, you may enjoy some shopping or return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Phuentsholing. Visit Gumpha Mandir, Karbandi Monastery, and Zangtopelri (a temple built in Dzong architecture).

After completing the sightseeing tour of Phuentsholing, continue your drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

After refreshing yourself, you may enjoy a walk through the nearby streets, visit local markets, try street food, and interact with local people. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities at your own pace.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten (built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan, who reigned from 1952 to 1972), Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, BBS Tower, the Government-run Handicraft Emporium, the Folk Heritage Museum, the National Textile Museum, and the National Institute of Traditional Medicine (outside view), as well as the zoo. Please note that some landmarks may be closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Paro. Upon arrival in Paro, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

After refreshing yourself, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Paro. Visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), followed by a leisurely walk to Rinpung Dzong. Also visit Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress where the Bhutanese repelled several invasions by the Tibetan army. Continue to the famous Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), a sacred Vajrayana Buddhist site located on a cliffside in the upper Paro Valley.

In the evening, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Bhutan.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Paro Airport to board your flight for your onward journey or return home.
