Tour Itinerary

Experience the best of Kerala on this 10-day journey from Calicut to Kovalam. Begin with the scenic hills and wildlife of Wayanad, including Banasura Sagar Dam, Pazhassi Raja Museum, and Kuruvadweep. Explore Guruvayur’s temples and elephant camp, then travel through Athirappilly and Cheeyappara waterfalls to the tea gardens of Munnar. Enjoy Eravikulam National Park, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary with bamboo rafting and elephant safari, and a serene backwater houseboat in Alleppey. Conclude with the beaches, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, and cultural sites of Kovalam and Trivandrum.

On arrival at Calicut Airport, a G Experiences representative will meet and assist you, and then drive you to Wayanad.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Wayanad. Visit Banasura Sagar Dam-the largest earth dam in India and the second largest of its kind in Asia-along with the Pazhassi Raja Tomb and Pazhassi Raja Museum, Mananthavady, and Kuruvadweep, a series of islands formed on the Kabini River.

Note. Kuruvadweep is open from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM. It remains closed during the monsoon season and on certain days due to wildlife activity or other restrictions.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Guruvayur. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

After refreshing yourself, proceed to visit Punnathur Kotta, which houses more than 50 elephants and is also known as the Elephant Camp. Later, visit Mammiyoor Temple and Guruvayur Temple (only Hindus are allowed inside the temple).

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Munnar, the scenic hills of Kerala. En route, visit Athirappilly Waterfalls, Cheeyappara Waterfalls, and Karadippara View Point.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town, and the local market.

In the evening, enjoy a walk through the tea estates or spend time at leisure with your own activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Periyar (Thekkady). Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in India, covering 777 sq. km, and is a designated Tiger Reserve.

Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. Later, proceed for a half-day tour of Periyar. Enjoy activities such as bamboo rafting and border hiking - unique experiences offered in the sanctuary - as well as an elephant safari.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Alleppey to enjoy a backwater houseboat experience.

Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked houseboat for an overnight stay. Cruise through the backwaters and lagoons of Alappuzha while enjoying onboard lunch and dinner. In the evening, you may take a walk along the local streets of Alappuzha.

After breakfast on the houseboat, check out and drive to Kovalam. En route, visit the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthira Malika (Horse Palace), Sri Chitra Art Gallery, and Padmatheertha Kulam (Temple Pond) in Trivandrum.

Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities at your own pace.

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore the beautiful attractions of Kovalam. Visit Samudra Beach, Lighthouse Beach, Poovar Beach, and Vizhinjam Beach. Also explore the Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Halcyon Castle, the Fishing Harbour, and the Rock Cut Cave Temple.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Trivandrum Airport to board your flight to your onward destination or return home.
